ASMS,AMPIVO to expand digital agriculture services across Rural India

Hyderabad, Sept 24 (UNI) Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly Bartronics India Limited, and Ampivo Smart Technologies have entered into an MoU to expand digital agriculture and farmer services across rural India.
Under the collaboration, Ampivo’s multilingual digital agriculture platform, Agri Kisan Setu, will be introduced in identified villages across ASMS’ rural network, the company said in a release on Thursday.
The platform provides farmers and rural stakeholders access to agricultural information, market prices, buyer-seller connectivity, government schemes, farm management tools and other services, including drone services.
The companies said the collaboration will initially focus on onboarding farmers and providing access to the platform’s existing agriculture, knowledge and marketplace services.
They will also explore digital advisory, service delivery and eligible sustainability and carbon-credit programmes.
ASMS Managing Director N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy and Ampivo Chief Operating Officer Anupam Shah said the partnership would help expand access to digital agricultural services and technology for farmers across rural communities.
